Cambridge Village itself does not have any neighborhood amenities to speak of, but the City of Rosenberg has an abundance of public parks that residents can take advantage of. One such park, Travis Park is just outside the main entrance to the neighborhood.
Travis Park features a baseball field, softball field, basketball courts, a playground, a splash pad, a walking trail and several pavilions that can be reserved for private parties. And don’t worry if you don’t feel like walking – there’s plenty of public parking around the park.
Up for a swim? During the summer months, both of Lamar CISD’s pools are open to the public for specific community programs only – such as Lap Swim, Diving Camp, Water Polo and Swim Lessons.
The LCSID Natatorium is an indoor swimming and diving facility located on the Lamar Consolidated High School campus at 1011 Horace Mann Ave. Programs here run from late May to Early July each summer. The Terry High School Natatorium is an outdoor facility located on the Terry High School campus at 5021 Airport Ave.
The Richmond / Rosenberg area offers loads of opportunities for shopping, dining, and entertainment… and because its still a small town atmosphere, you can generally get anywhere in about 5 – 10 minutes.
Find popular restaurants along 36, Avenue H and Avenue I. Enjoy all the shopping you can handle in nearby Brazos Town Center. Discover fun events at the Fort Bend County Fairground and the brand new Fort Bend County Epicenter. And if that’s till not enough, both Katy and Sugar Land are just a short drive away!
