Our Top 10
The Oaks Kitchen & Bar
Taking a cue from the farms and ranches in the early days of Katy – The Oaks Kitchen & Bar brings a bit of that heritage to Cane Island with the hopes that it will become a neighborhood destination not only for nearby homeowners – but the growing community of Katy.
Their menu features ranch-inspired American classics; appetizers for sharing, fresh salads, burgers, sandwiches and regional Signature Plates. On Sundays, they roll out our Brunch menu. Our full bar features craft cocktails, local beers and a curated wine list.
Lupe Tortilla
The first Lupe Tortilla opened during 1983 in Addicks, Texas. From the beginning the goal has been to serve the freshest, best tasting Mexican food possible. They use only the finest & freshest ingredients and all of their food is made fresh to order.
Hand rolled flour tortillas, fresh squeezed lime margaritas, and distinctive lime and pepper marinated beef fajitas are the keys that have brought diners through their doors for over 30 years.
Whiskey Cake
Whiskey Cake is your neighborhood joint for craft cocktails and farm-fresh comfort food. They source flavors, ingredients, and ideas straight from the farm, because good food tastes even better when it’s grown locally.
From the mesquite wood-grilled plates to fresh greens and famous desserts, all of their hand-crafted dishes are served up with simple, honest flavors in a rustic, local atmosphere. Their chefs transform simple, seasonal ingredients into classic American dishes with local flavor.
Dish Society
Dedicated to using the highest quality and freshest ingredients possible, Dish Society sources a majority of its items locally from suppliers such as Atkinson Farms, Black Hill Ranch, Ives Creek Organics, and Slow Dough Bread Company, among others.
The all-day diner turns out a seasonally changing menu with healthful modern twists on traditional favorites. In addition to the robust coffee program by Greenway Coffee, guests can enjoy fresh juices and elixirs, a rotating selection of local craft beers, an approachable wine list, and handcrafted cocktails served in a modern industrial atmosphere.
Anthonie’s Market Grill
Tucked between lazy farm roads and sprawling ranch land, in cozy proximity to I-10, Katy, and the Energy Corridor, lies west Houston’s favorite eatery. Featuring upscale fare in a down home atmosphere, Anthonie’s is a unique indoor/outdoor concept boasting ancient-wood planked walls, polished concrete floors, a state-of-the-art open kitchen and a massive patio with superb sunset views.
The warm ambience and neighborly reception are just a prelude to the restaurant’s generous, lip-smacking meals. Add the well-appointed beer garden, fire pit and live music, and Anthonie’s becomes the preferred destination of locals and travelers alike.
The Rouxpour
A New Orleans-inspired restaurant , known for delicious award-winning chargrilled oysters, fresh seafood, and the best prime steaks which can be paired with a bottle of wine from an extensive wine list. Enjoy the stunning patio, wonderful service, and an inviting atmosphere that you are sure to love.
Rouxpour’s restaurant and bar boast a classic NOLA atmosphere complete with a warm ambiance, cozy patio seating, and an ambitious menu concentrating on the savory flavors of the Vieux Carré. Fashioned after the historic French Quarter, The Rouxpour offers an authentic New Orleans experience like no place else.
TaDs
TaDs menu offers a larger variety than Seafood on the Geaux and gives guests a cozy spot to come and watch the game. They didn’t want to stray too far away from their to Geaux concept so you can not only dine in, but you can also call and conveniently grab lunches and dinners through their pick up window.
If you have time to stay, grab a seat on the patio with friends and family or hangout at the bar and drink an ice cold beverage. At TaDs, they always Le Bon temps roule!

Pearl & Vine
Every Pearl & Vine experience starts like the refined pearl which is reflected in all aspects of the restaurant’s excellent service, atmosphere, and open kitchen. It’s the perfect spot for an intimate dinner, private event, or a weekend family brunch.
The fresh seafood, oyster bar, rotisserie chicken, hand crafted pizzas, pastas, and wood fired steaks are only a few notable items off the chef inspired menu, which is focused on americana food with a southern flare. The vine is a homage to their wine selection to create a perfect pairing.
Astor Farm to Table
Located in Highland shopping center on South Mason Rd, Astor’s is your local global cuisine serving iconic authentic signature dishes from South Africa and Latin America in the heart of Katy. With unique flavors, table-side presentations and impeccable service that make you feel at home and like family.
Check out the main dining room and spacious patio with an open outdoor bar; it’s the perfect place to gather around with your family and favorite people to savor Astor’s flavorful dishes, with their warm and homely atmosphere. Their extensive South African & around the world wine list comes well recommended, to perfectly pair with their “flavorful dishes”.
Local Table
Local Table is a concept conceived by the family that created Hungry’s Café and Bistro, a neighborhood bistro in the Rice Village and Memorial neighborhoods with a 35-plus year history. This new iteration from Hungry’s represents a new generation within the Hungry’s founders’ family- young families building a life in the suburbs that desire a dining destination that boasts a unique combination of hipness and kid-friendliness.
The name “Local Table” not only connotes the fresh, locally sourced produce that Hungry’s is known for but also exemplifies the spirit of neighborhood and community…a true place to connect for young families in suburban areas.
The concept has been hugely successful at it’s current location at Villagio Town Center (soon to be moving to the former Luby’s on Cinco Ranch Blvd, and now a second location has opened outside of Cross Creek Ranch on Fry Rd. Both boast tremendous outdoor dining areas!
